Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy outlines how orders from Oslo Art Prints are fulfilled, shipped, and delivered. All purchases are made through Douglas Carr Photography (Org. nr 935 610 001), trading as Oslo Art Prints, and are subject to our Terms & Conditions and Norwegian consumer protection law.

1. Shipping Partner & Fulfilment

All artworks are printed on demand by our trusted printing partner, using certified archival materials. Orders are fulfilled and shipped directly from their professional print labs in the United Kingdom, Germany, or the United States, depending on your delivery location. This ensures efficient delivery and excellent print quality.

2. Shipping Costs
Prints are shipped worldwide. Shipping costs may change due to factors such as changes in shipping routes, tariffs, or unforeseen events (e.g., war). Any updates will be reflected at checkout. Below are the standard shipping costs per product and delivery zone:

Oslo Art Prints offers free international shipping to Europe (EU, EEA & CH) and the USA.

Shipping to Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the Rest of the World is NOK 900.

These rates apply to all print-only orders. If framed or oversized products become available in the future, updated costs will be reflected at checkout.

3. Estimated Delivery Times

Delivery typically takes 3–21 days, depending on your location. These are estimated timeframes and not guaranteed. Delivery times may be affected by weekends, public holidays, customs clearance, or seasonal demand (e.g., Christmas).

You will receive a tracking link via email once your artwork has been dispatched. This link will provide the latest delivery estimate from our shipping partner.

4. Tracking & Delivery

Once your order has been printed and dispatched, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. This email may be sent via our print partner's logistics system and appear under the sender name “Art Prints.” Be sure to check your spam/junk folder.

If you do not receive your dispatch email within 5 business days, please contact us at osloartprints@gmail.com.

5. Import Duties & Customs Fees

Orders delivered to Norway and other non-EU countries may be subject to:

Import taxes
Customs duties
Handling/clearance fees (e.g., from Bring or Posten Norge or the postal service company of your country)

These charges are not included in the print price or shipping cost and must be paid by the buyer upon delivery. For Norwegian buyers, customs clearance fees are typically charged by the carrier and not Oslo Art Prints.

6. Unclaimed or Returned Packages

All artworks sold by Oslo Art Prints are custom-made limited edition prints, exempt from the right of return under Norwegian law (Angrerettloven § 22(e)).

If a customer fails to collect a package and it is returned to our printing partner or Oslo Art Prints, the order will not be refunded. The customer may be held responsible for any additional shipping or handling fees incurred as a result of the unclaimed delivery.

If you're unable to collect your package, please contact the delivery provider (e.g., DHL or your national postal service) as soon as possible to arrange redelivery or pickup.

7. Damaged or Lost Orders

If your package arrives damaged or does not arrive within 21 days after dispatch, please contact us as soon as possible at osloartprints@gmail.com. Include:

Your order number
A description (and photo, if applicable) of any damage
The tracking number (if available)

We will investigate with our print and courier partners and do our best to resolve the issue promptly.
