2. Products

All prints sold by Oslo Art Prints are custom-made, limited edition Digital Graphic Art (DGA) prints, created specifically according to the size specifications selected by the customer and are accompanied by a digital signed and edition numbered Certificate of Authenticity. Each print is produced on demand by our trusted printing partner to ensure the highest quality and uniqueness. Due to the custom-made nature of these products and their limited edition status, each order is tailored uniquely to the buyer’s preferences and cannot be cancelled or returned once production has started, in accordance with Norwegian law (Angrerettloven §22(e)).

3. Pricing

All prices are listed in Norwegian Kroner (NOK). As the products sold are limited edition Digital Graphic Art (DGA) prints, they are exempt from VAT under applicable Norwegian tax laws.

For artworks priced above NOK 2,000, a legally mandated art fee of 5% is included in the displayed sale price. This fee supports the Fund for Visual Artists (BKH) and helps promote the creative environment in Norway. The buyer is responsible for this fee.

We handle all reporting and payments related to this fee to ensure a smooth process.

Prices may change without prior notice; however, you will always pay the price confirmed at checkout.

4. Payments

4.1 Accepted Payment Methods

Oslo Art Prints accepts payments securely through the payment providers Stripe and PayPal.

We currently accept the following payment methods:

4.2 Processing Fees

Stripe charges 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. Fees may vary by country. The minimum charge is $0.50 (USD).

Note: These fees are not added to your order — they are deducted from the seller’s earnings.

​4.3 Price & Remuneration

The remuneration for our services is the one indicated in the price list currently online and confirmed at checkout. We reserve the right to change the price list for future orders without notice.
All prices are in NOK and, where applicable, include the 5% Art Fee (kunstavgiften). No VAT is added.

4.4 Payment Security

The security of your financial transactions is a top priority at Oslo Art Prints. We are fully committed to protecting your data, and our store on the Wix platform, where Wix Payments are processed, complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).

4.5 Data Protection & Evidence

Oslo Art Prints is built on the Wix platform and operated under Douglas Carr Photography, committed to full GDPR compliance.

• All payment transactions through Stripe and PayPal are encrypted and serve as proof of transaction.

• No sensitive payment information is stored on our servers.

4.6 Import Taxes & Customs Fees

Orders shipped to Norway or other countries may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, or handling fees (such as Bring/Posten’s customs clearance charge). These are not included in the product price and are the responsibility of the buyer.

For shipments to Norway from our international print labs, a customs clearance fee may be applied by Bring or Posten Norge upon delivery. This fee is set by the shipping carrier and is not charged or controlled by Oslo Art Prints.

We recommend checking your country’s import regulations and estimated fees before completing your purchase. For Norwegian customers, more information can be found on Posten.no.

5. Order Confirmation

You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been successfully placed. If you do not receive this confirmation within 24 hours, please contact us at [your contact email], and be sure to check your spam or junk folder.

Once your order has been printed and dispatched, you will receive a separate shipping confirmation email with tracking details. This email is sent by our production partner’s logistics system and may be branded under “Art Prints.” Please also check your spam or junk folder for this notification.

6. Shipping and Delivery

​​Shipping Partner:
All orders are fulfilled by our professional print partner, The Print Space, with shipping originating from the UK, Germany, or the US depending on your location. 

Shipping costs are calculated and added at checkout — they are paid by you, the customer.

Shipping Costs:
Prints are shipped worldwide. Shipping costs may change due to factors such as changes in shipping routes, tariffs, or unforeseen events (e.g., war). Any updates will be reflected at checkout. Below are the standard shipping costs per product and delivery zone:

Oslo Art Prints offers free international shipping to Europe (EU, EEA & CH) and the USA.

Shipping to Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the Rest of the World is NOK 900.

Delivery typically takes 3–21 days, depending on your location. These are estimated timeframes, not guaranteed. Delivery may be affected by weekends, public holidays, customs clearance, or seasonal demand (e.g., Christmas).

You’ll receive a tracking link via email once your artwork is dispatched. That link will show the latest delivery estimate from our shipping partner.

Please note that any local taxes or import duties are the responsibility of the customer.

7. Right of Withdrawal (Angrerett)

All prints sold by Oslo Art Prints are custom-made (Digital Graphic Art, or DGA) according to the specific size and format selected by the customer at the time of purchase. These prints are produced on demand to suit your preferences and are not stock items.

In accordance with the Norwegian Cancellation Act (Angrerettloven) §22/e, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are manufactured to the consumer’s specifications or that are clearly personalised.

By placing an order with Oslo Art Prints, you acknowledge and accept that you waive the standard 14-day cancellation right. You therefore cannot cancel, return, or request a refund once your order has been confirmed and production has begun.

 

8. Returns & Refunds
For issues such as damaged prints or printing errors, please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy.

9. Force Majeure

In accordance with Article 1148 of the French Code Civil (or similar provisions in other applicable jurisdictions), Oslo Art Prints shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to fulfil obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, natural disasters, war, pandemics, strikes, governmental restrictions, supply chain disruptions, or any other events considered force majeure.
